Become pilot

You can learn to pilot at any age, a young person can even pilot a plane before driving a car. The basic licence is available from the age of 15.

Basic Licence (Brevet de Base)

The basic licence is obtained after a flight training averageing 20 hours (15 hours of double command and 4 hours of solo minimum) and the achievement of a theoretical test. With this licence, you can fly within a radius of 30km around the airfield.

Private Pilot Licence

Minimum age 17. It takes 40 hours, the navigation training complements the training of the basic licence. With the PPL, all skies in europe are open to the pilot. Qualifications are possible afterwards depending on the motivations (mountain flying, night flying, etc.). The mountain aifields of Megève, Méribel, Courchevel have become frequent excursions.

Means

The flying club offers its students:

  • 2 instructors
  • 2 planes :
    • a Cessna 152 (110hp) for beginners.
    • a DR400-140B (160hp) for navigations.
  • a classroom with simulator and videos.

Financial sponsoring from the FFA can help young pilots who are highly motivated.
